during...

it has been SUCH a busy week! luckily beau only had to work 2.5 days, so he got a TON done at the house! walls have been patched, baseboards have been ripped out, most of the house has been painted, shelves and baseboards came today, and lots lots more has been done! it's been really overwhelming, but so fun! we have had so much help, and we are so grateful for all of it! i haven't been able to do much because of all the painting going on in the house, I've even been kicked out a few times! haha! this weekend will be 10x busier than the week was though! here are some 'during' pictures.... beau tearing out some wall to make room for the new closet doors! i am SO excited for all of the closets! allen and brian (tiff's hubby) are going to help us make custom closets in the bedrooms and the laundry room! yay!this picture is super dark, but it was better than the other one i got! the new paint made SUCH a big difference!kitchen and family room are painted! yay!master bedroom

come on... really this much hail in JUNE!?

safe to say i think this will be a big year...

because we just bought a house! yay! we are SO excited! and a little overwhelmed! but mostly excited! we have waited 2 years (which doesnt seem like long, but we feel like it is!) for the 'right time, and apparently it finally came, because we closed yesterday! it's going to ba a lot of work, but our families have already already been so helpful! we got the keys at 2:30 and by 3:00 beau's mom and stepdad were up there helping us clean and prep for painting! is it sad that i really dont want to post pictures of what it looks like!? haha, it's horrible, but just from patching the walls and doing a little cleaning it looks a lot better! i promise ill post more pictures when it looks presentable! for now, you get these...
beau ripping off baseboardsplease dont mind what i look like! it was a long day! i didnt realize how little i can do until i tried to do it all! by last night i was swollen and sore and just a little miserable. i felt so bad i was so little help, but oh well i guess! i think this is one of those times in life that you have to learn to ask for help, which we are not good at!

im being brave and posting this picture, just so you can see how many dang nail holes there are! times that by 100 more in every room! it's like these people nailed every possession they had to the wall!

other than that news... im 27 weeks! ill try and post a belly picture soon, because it has changed a lot! hopefully life will slow down in a few weeks, but until then, bring on the paint!

2 years...6 months

two years ago today i married my best friend for time and all eternity. marriage is so different than i thought it would be, but i love it. i had heard the first year is the hardest, but it was a breeze, and so was the second. i feel so blessed to have such an amazing man as my husband. it makes everything a lot easier. i cant believe this is our last anniversary before we are parents, a lot of changes are happening, but we are so exited! and for an update on that...
holy cow... i cant believe its been 6 months already! nothing about this pregnancy is dragging by for me! but i guess thats a good thing! we feel him kick all the time, especially at night. he has been favoring the right side of my belly for about a week now, which makes me think thats where his feet are, but who knows, this little guy is such a wiggle worm, he is all over the place! we can see my belly move now, and its so fun to watch! the other night we were talking about how fast everything is going by, and i got a little sad! i really do love being pregnant! i never was really sick, so i have gotten to enjoy the whole process. i love feeling him move, i love having beau feel him move, i love watching my belly grow and knowing that our sweet little baby is in there. im so grateful that i have had such a wonderful pregnancy with no problems. i know i am very lucky, and i try to remind myself of that everyday when i 'just want him to be here already!'
i've really gotten into 'craving' mode lately! snow cones are #1! i could eat a cantaloupe snow cone EVERY day! i try to con beau into at least two trips a weekend. also... spaghetti, pancakes, frozen gogurts, peach oatmeal, watermelon (beau had predicted that one LONG before i was preggo), and there is a lot more, but i cant think of them.
i guess thats all the updating for now, the next few weeks will be fun though, so i should have more interesting posts!

memorial weekend

we kicked off memorial day weekend by going to pine valley! it was so nice up there! we went for a rhino ride and got ice cream, and ate dinner with beau's family.

beau and his dad setting up the table, it is insane how much alike they are! they walk, talk, and act exactly the same! everyone always tells beau how much he acts like his dad, which is a good thing because everyone loves brian!
Monday was supposed to be a chill day, but we ended up deciding to go to enterprise at the last minute. my family has gone to enterprise almost every year, so it was fun to go up again. we went to marvs of coarse! YUMM!!! and to the main cemetery and 2 super old ones that were really interesting! it was so fun to spend the day with beau and my family, im sad we have to get back to real life!
