HALF WAY!

well i am officially 1/2 way there! i really can not believe it. it's going by SO fast! i am LOVING being pregnant now, no more being sick! beau kindly let me know that he was glad i was out of 'that stage' :) what a nice husband i have ;) but i do have to agree with him! the second trimester is SO much funner! I'm DEFINITELY starting to show! a little more than i thought i would actually! but I'm okay with that, its fun! doesn't a cantaloupe seem really big? a lot bigger than last week's mango? haha oh well!

see, i told you i was showing. i keep telling myself that all my preggo friends are just skinny, and that's why i have such a bigger belly! i guess i would rather be bigger than i thought i would than not showing at all!
so... i had this theory about names before we were pregnant. i was not a fan of naming your baby before you saw it. well... that went out the window when we found out he was a he. we've named the little bugger. i also had the idea that we weren't going to tell anyone until he was almost here, but Ive had so many people ask me, that most people already know. so here ya go, baby boys name is...his first name was really easy. middle name was HARD! we went back and forth a lot, beau's middle name is James and so is Brian's (beau's dad) and we loved how it sounded, but it's kind of over used, even in just our family! but, we thought it would be fun to have all 3 generations with the same initials. so it stuck!

okay LAST baby thing i promise, for this post at least! i know its early and i am jumping the gun and its going to kill me having it all done and still waiting for him to get here, but we have started his room! it's been SO fun! it doesn't really have 'colors' kind of just boy stuff. and everything looks a lot darker in person, for some reason on here everything looks a lot brighter. but you get the idea! :)

(isn't that the SWEETEST quote!?)

thanks for listening to my rambling! I'm pretty sure i am done for today! :)

got the blanks here

One song that always takes me back to my youth is hero-by enrique iglesias i still love that song. and beau makes fun of me.

My first concert ever was geeze... do i even remember this? mom help me out!... was it sawyer brown?

If I could create my dream music festival I'd want these bands to be there: celine dion. enrique iglesias. backstreet boys. journey. david bedingfield. (does anyone know who that is but me? tell, me i am really wondering!) reba. aerosmith... my list could go on forever.

The best make-out song ever is...there isnt one.

The best concert I've ever been to was shedaisy, not because of who was playing, or even that i had the most AMAZING time, in fact, i was REALLY sick that night, but beau had gotten me the tickets for my birthday and he was so sweet the whole time since i didnt feel good. and he didnt get mad that he had pretty much wasted all that money, he just felt bad that i was sick.

A memorable musical moment for me was when beau sang Taking Back Sunday – Cute Without the 'E' (Cut From the Team) on the way home from logandale when we were dating. it was like 150* and the green monster didnt have AC, it should of been a horrible ride home, but it wasnt. it was awesome. thats the only song he will ever sing to me, and it still gives me goosebumps. i ♥ him.

The song on my iPod that's getting the most play these days is (ill have to go with itunes for this one, i lost my ipod) nobody- by sylvia, its an old song, but i love it.

well i am 1 week from 1/2 way and baby boy is a MANGO! which seems smaller then a sweet potato, but whatever! things are getting to be SO much funner! last week was filled with tons of baby room projects, which i have pictures of, i just dont have my card reader to get them on here! :) so ill try and post them later in the week. i have also been buying clothes like mad! its my new weakness! he has gotten more new clothes in the past 2 weeks than i have in the past year! i think im preparing myself for how spoiled he will be! craving have changed, the latest are snow cones (does anyone know when snowkaps opens?), watermelon, turkey wraps, bbq chicken pizza, and melted milkshakes... yes melted. which is what im eating right now :)
our non-baby lives are existing of house hunting at the moment! its one of our favorite things to do, drive around and look at the houses we find online. we had been talking about buying a house for about a year now, but just recently have we felt that its really the right time for us. we talked to the Realtor last week and he sent us some awesome ones to look at! its all so exciting! beau also found out that he will be working in town now! well after this week that is! its going to be so nice to have him home for a few months!
thats about it for now! i wish i had more pictures! maybe next time! :)

friiiday.

im stealing this idea from my cute bloggy friend kelsey :) got the blanks here
FRIDAY BLANKS

The first thing I do in the morning is brush my teeth.

Every night before bed I take my pre-natals, watch tv, snuggle with the hubby

My favorite thing to do when I'm having a bad day is cook.

Something that makes me cringe is watching people/hearing people/thinking about people brushing their teeth.

Social situations are only enjoyable if i know people.

I like to collect home decor. and every note beau ever writes to me.

Weekends are for spending time with my husband. and projects that are too big to tackle by myself :)

its a....

ITS A BOY!
we are BEYOND excited! it was acctually pretty suprising when the tech told us! we were both really expecting a girl! but beau spotted it from across the room before the tech even told us, so he said that if a guy with no medical experience can tell from there, its pretty obvious!! it was so fun to watch him swimming around in there! he kept opening and closing his mouth, it looked like he was talking! and then he waved! he opened and closed his hand a few times for us! it was SO cute! we didnt get very good pictures, mostly because the dang kid woulndt hold still for more than a second! but everything looked good! he weighs about 9 oz. right now! my due date stayed the same, sept. 10. other than that, not much to report thankfully! we have a healthy baby boy! :)

right after, of course i HAD to go shopping, it was interesting looking at blue when i have been looking at pink forever! but it was so fun! im so excited to start the nursery and buying 'boy' things! beau has already talked about his first gun! since he will be here just in time for his first elk hunt! ;)

week 18! i already told you the big news for the week! in other news, i can feel HIM (its so fun to say) kicking like CRAZY! im enjoying while it's fun because everyone keeps telling me ill be miserable soon. which is getting a little old. random people keep telling me, 'enjoy it now! it wont be fun in a few months' or 'it wont be so cute when it keeps you up at night!' it's making it hard to enjoy when everyone reminds me of the bad things! ok that was my venting for the day!
we are SO excited for a boy!! its the exact way we wanted to start our family! now september just needs to get here! :)

A Marriage Prayer

"Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us. To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us. We ask for words both kind and loving and hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive. Dear Lord, we put our marriage into your hands."
