Welcome Home Ramsey!!

beau's cousin/best friend/best man came off of his mission on thursday. he was in brazil for two long years. beau is really excited to have him back! they went up to Kolob this weekend to have some 'guy time'. i am doing suprisingly okay for not talking to him in like 10 hours! ( i am SO bad i know!) it has already been fun having him home! even though we have only seen him a few times!

his sisters managed to give him 3 nephews while he was gone!! he wasnt sure quite what to do with all those babies! that is the one thing beau is most excited for him about, beau has had neices/nephews practically all of his life! so he is excited for ramsey to see what it is like!

we have a few dates lined up for him already, but he wants to wait a few days till he gets 'back in the game'. i guess you cant blame him!

1 month 21 days.

that is how long beau lasted without t.v. he kept saying that he was 'cut off from the world'... i haven't had t.v. for like 5 years... so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. but beau has had it all of his life, so it was just too much for him to take! (i think part of it was that he had this cool man cave to throw football parties in... and no football games to watch!!) so yesterday we broke down and called to order satellite. we figured that we didnt have to pay for beau's cell phone anymore, so we could just pay for tv instead! i have to admit, it will be nice, i wont have to miss any of my favorite shows, because we will have that dvr thing. and you gotta be excited about that whole pause/rewind/fast forward business!

i cant believe we are getting married in 15 days! it is really starting to sink in! i think the hardest thing is going to be not seeing my family everyday! they get on my nerves, but i am going to miss them! sheesh i sound like i am moving 1/2 way around the world! did anyone else feel like this!? i am so excited/nervous/impatient/overwhelmed! but mostly excited!!!! =)

yup... after about 4 or 5 years of the same phone number... i switched! beau had gotten a work phone through alltel, but i had verizon... so being the sweetie that he is, he carried around 2 phones in his pocket for a couple weeks till i could switch! i LOVE my new phone! it's so confusing and fun!! i don't text... so the keyboard doesn't get used too often... but it's still fun to play with! i still have my verizon phone in my purse.. so if you need to call me to get my new #, go for it! or you can call beau or my mom or dad!

only 18.5 days! can you believe it!?!? everything is coming together so fast! there is a lot that still needs to be done... like making 500 wedding favors!! but so far we've only had a few minor road bumps! we have started to pack up my craft room. on Saturday we bought a huge desk that goes the length of our spare room.... so that will be my scrapbook/sewing desk. i am way excited for that! beau leaves this weekend... so i am going to try and pack up what i can of my room and get it out there. most of the moving will probably take place the week of the wedding. i have a hard time parting with my stuff, even if its only for a little while! i am still receiving bridal shower gifts! everyone has been so generous! we cant even imagine what our wedding will be like!?

we saw 'what happens in vegas' over the weekend! it was so good! it is definetly worth going to see!

i am so excited about this! it was expensive, and a lot of work, hours of sanding and painting... but it was all worth it! the pictures dont even do it justice.. so you need to come see it!

i cant believe the wedding is only 22 days away! it is SO crazy! i am so excited! it is coming so fast! but i wish it was here already!

get wet: the shower? i dont really like to swim. shop for fun: i like hollister. charolette russe. ross. christensens. aero.

get some fresh air: kolob. i love it up there. i dont like the drive.. too windy, but it is a really beautibul place!

splurge: decorations. in fact i spent WAY too much yesterday... ill show pics when i get it up and done! im SO proud of it! drive for a weekend away: id have to say Salt lake.... maybe veags
buy a treat: kfc mashed potatoes or coleslaw... i know its not really a treat... but i am not really into sweets!

we had such a fun weekend!!! on friday we were just drivin around town running errends, and i was like, "lets stop in that game store and get a wii!" so we did! it is SO much fun!! we have been playing it nonstop! we got the carnival games to go with it... that game is way fun!

anyways we had a very fun weekend! i cant believe its only 25 days away! i am SO excited!!

beau also got to talk to a few of his friends that are on missions! he was so excited to hear from them! Ramsey (his cousin and best man) comes home in 9 days! beau is pretty excited! heleman has only been out since august, but he is doing really good! beau is really blessed to have such great buddies!

since i am almost 100% sure i will get at least one crock pot for our wedding (i hope!?) i was ECSTATIC when i found this blog!! it is a whole year of recipes dedicated to the crock pot! how cool is that!? it has everything from dips, to soups, to bread, to desserts!! there are a few... creative recipes (i.e. tofu, cold avacado soup?) but a lot of them look REALLY good! my family has always been about sunday crockpot meals... and i plan on taking that tradition into our little family!

can you believe it's only 32 days away! i am so excited! our bridal picture disc is in the mail... so expect them up by sometime this week! she said that they turned out really good! i cant wait!

oh and we went to IN-N-OUT!!!! SOO good! and like only a 10 min wait! cant beat that!

i have been thinking a lot about my wedding colors and i have decided that i LOVE them.... but they are boring and kinda overused... so i was trying to think of something diffrent that would make it kind of intresting.. and i came up with this.

i really like this color with the red and black! i wouldnt use enough of it to change my colors completly, just like, a ribbon here and a small flower there.... it called chartreuse. i havnt talked myself into it yet... so dont freak out quite yet... but it was just an idea... i just really dont want people to walk in and be like "oh... ANOTHER red and black wedding.... yipee..." i want to do something that will make them say "hmm... thats unexpected" or "wow... intresing! cute, but intresting!" let me know what you think.... its really hard to explain how i am seeing it in my mind... but i hope you get the idea!

i just wanted to wish my wonderful mom a happy birthday! she is such a strong, wonderful person! she is my best friend and i dont know what i would do without her!!!! i love you mom!

o and my little brother (i know what you are thinking... little!? he is like a head and a half taller than me!) lost his first serious bet at school! so he had to wear this all day! funny huh! i really miss middle school!
