year one was a success!

so i had a HUGE post written. i mean a HUGE post. then this dummy blog went and froze and lost it all. im pissed, and i dont feel like writing it all over. so you get a shortened version of the weekend.

thursday i got up early and bought beau a present. we had previously decided not to do gifts for our anniversary, since we have spent so much money recently,and we are about to buy another fourwheeler, but if you know either of us, we cant resist spoiling one another! so i got him a scope (for his gun). after that i went home and went about my day, cleaning, laundry and whatnot. well, i started to get antsy, so i called beau to see when he would be home. all he told me was 'just hold your horses!' well... about an hour later i heard the front door open, and the next little while went something like this...

B- "where are you?"

S-"in the man cave"

B-"stay there!"

S- "should i close my eyes!?"

B-"no i am just going to give you your present now!"

S- "okay.... WAIT! NO NO NO!!!! i dont want it now! you have to wait until sunday!"

B- "no, it's too big i cant hide it for that long, you're getting it now!"

and he proceeds to walk in, with this....it is beautiful! big, and beautiful and i am in love with it! so of coarse i had to give him his gift! he loved it just as much as i love mine!

Friday morning we woke up early and went to beau's dad's cabin for the weekend! it was so nice up there! it rained, but we didnt care! some friends came up and stayed with us saturday night. we went to the brandin iron for dinner. looked for deer. went for lots of fourwheeler rides. took naps. ate, a lot. played 21 and war. and just hung out. it was so much fun! and very relaxing!

i cant believe it has been a year! it is insane! this has been the most wonderful year of my life!! i feel so lucky and blessed for the wonderful man that i am seled to for time and all eternity. i couldn't ask for anyone better! he is my best friend, and the love of my life.
