christmas.

First off, to anyone who didn't receive our Christmas card this year...
Christmas was so much fun this year! It's amazing what a year can do in a kid's personality!
We had my grandma's Christmas party a few weeks before Christmas, and we had a lot of fun! I always look forward to the food at my Grandma's Christmas party. The roast beef, potato casserole and noodle soup bring back wonderful memories.
Blake didn't really mind Santa, but all he wanted was the candy, and then he was out of there. :)

Christmas day was so much fun this year! We woke up around 8 and my mom came over to watch Blake open presents.
As I mentioned before, we took it really easy on Christmas this year, but Mr. B got (from us) a little people farm set, dinosaur puppets, shape and number puzzles, clothes & shoes, books, cars, (from my mom) a tool bench, a basketball hoop, bath toys, (from Beau's mom) a new church outfit and a truck (from Grandpa C) a truck and little people superheros (from Grandpa S) a john deer truck. Whew! Sorry, that was more for my memory than anything!
Beau got a new sleeping bag, stuff for his gun safe, stuff for the trailer, a dutch oven, clothes, gift cards and some other random stuff.
I got an amazing new knife set, clothes, a new wallet, gift cards, a watch, a few other gift cards, blankets (one from my mom that she crocheted for me!) and some other stuff.
that afternoon Scott called, so we got to skype with him! He is doing amazing! He'll be home in October, which is insane!

These are from the day after Christmas when it snowed, Beau taught Blake to catch snowflakes in his mouth and he loved it! It was so funny to watch!

A Marriage Prayer

"Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us. To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us. We ask for words both kind and loving and hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive. Dear Lord, we put our marriage into your hands."
