Blake 4.5 years

He loves: hot wheels, wild kratts (tv show), animals, dinosaurs, helping us do anything, the iPad, trains, french fries, and school.

Hates: new foods, getting in trouble, pants (he is NEVER wearing pants at home)

Meal time: He is still SUPER SUPER picky!! he eats exactly the following; carrots, cucumbers, celery, oranges, strawberries, apples,  melon, blueberries, pancakes/waffles, buttered noodles, toast, bread, pretzels, french fries, cereal, ANY sweets/treats.

Sleep: He sleeps great, from 7:00-7:00. He gets up by himself and plays in the living room until I wake up. No naps.

He is still a big kid! No one can believe he is 4! He wears 5T clothes, size 13 shoe. Last time I weighed him, he was 40 lbs.

He is an AMAZING big brother! We rarely, if ever, have to get after him for being mean to Quinn. He is constantly helping her, or bringing her things to feel better if she's sad.

He LOVES school and his speech has improved drastically! His teachers are so impressed with how well he is doing! His last year preschool teacher came to his last IEP meeting and she couldn't stop talking about how well he is talking! Proud Mamma Bear ;).

He knows all the colors, knows all the shapes (including trapezoid, crescent, hexagon, and a bunch of other weird shapes) can count to 12+, sings his ABC's and knows every letter, is amazing at making patterns, and has a PHENOMENAL memory!

He is really excited for his baby brother, and is constantly telling people about him! His teacher texted me the other day and asked if I was really pregnant, because Blake had been telling everyone that there is a baby brother in his mom's belly! He wants to name him Dragon. :) He is very careful around my tummy, and if I squeeze him tight, he says "don't hurt baby brother mom!" He is not okay with sharing his room though! He was (and still is) ticked when I moved his clothes to the bottom closet rod and put baby clothes up top!

He loves taking pictures.

I need to write down all the funny things he says! The other day he told me that boy's hearts are green and girl hearts are clear.

A Marriage Prayer

"Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us. To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us. We ask for words both kind and loving and hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive. Dear Lord, we put our marriage into your hands."
