We had such a fun memorial day! We started the day by (sort of) cleaning the house, and then headed up to Kolob! We packed a lunch, and I grabbed my camera so I could take beck's 1 year old photos.
We got up there just at the clouds were rolling in, making it a tad on the chilly side, but not too bad. Beau immediately took the kids down to the shore and got them started fishing and I took Beck up the hill a bit to get some photos before we got messy from lunch. I'll post his pictures later, but he didn't love getting them done, he was super whiney, it didn't help that he was sick and needed a nap. We got quite a few good ones though! After that, I made us some lunch, and in the middle of us all eating, Quinn caught a fish! It kind of grossed my out because beau had to touch it and then go back to eating. Haha! The kids had a blast though, and even though it was cold, they didn't want to leave!
After we called it a day with fishing, we drove up over cedar mountain to see the Neibaur family! We hung out at their house and then went to a yuuuuumy Mexican restaurant for lunch before heading down to Washington for a "Jolley sit-out", we had root beer floats, toured my great grandpa Ben's house (which was really neat! They'd renovated the entire things and it's SO cute!) then we drove up to the cemetery to visit Grandpa Jolleys headstone and visited for awhile before going home and crashing! It was a long day! Fun, but long! Memorial weekend is always one of my favorite holidays!
