who is ready for a picture overload!?

it has been an AMAZING two weeks. really stressful, but totally worth it! i already love being married!! so... i am just going to start with some pictures now!! there are a lot... and i mean A LOT.

the temple was amazing! we didnt get too many pictures because everone left! plus it was like 100 degrees outside!! but it was awesome, and i wouldnt have done it any other way! i am so glad that i get to be with my babe forever and ever!

the luncheon was SO good! we were both so tired so we left early, but the food was amazing! we didnt get to eat much of it, but was i nibbled at was way good! we had a lot left over, but dpnt worry, we took care of that ;)!

the reception was awesome! i was SO high strung all day (ask anyone!) and i started to feel really sick right before it started, but when people started to arrive, everything came together really well! i was so happy!

us and our buddies

my wonderful mother and i. she was awesome through everything! i couldnt have done it without her! (not the best picture... but oh well.)
my 'not so little' brother and i... can you believe he is 3 years younger than me!?

beau's fam. enlarge the pic of the neices/nephews... it is to die for!

my dad's family

the 'posed' cutting the cake picture

so heres the story on the cake cutting. when we started talking about getting married beau told me he was going to smash the cake in my face, and i told him that if he did, he would have a pretty lousy wedding night. so we go over to start cutting the cake and ramsey is over on the sidelines telling beau that if he didnt smash it in my face he would be a dissapointment. so that is where the dilema started... mess up my pretty dress... or be boring. it didnt take me long to decide, and i figured that if i was going to do this... i had to do it full on. so i did. i think it took beau by suprise. but it was oh so much fun. the entire thing lasted like 5 min. sorry to anyone who got hit in the line of fire. hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

cutting.

smashing.

reaching for more.

smashing again.

neither of us could stop laughing.

we toasted chocolate milk in champagne glasses.

our poor cake.
they said they were going to be nice to our cars... try telling us that when we are scrubbing windows for an hour in 100+ degrees on a black truck and a red car... and then trying to get melted silly string off my steering wheel and out of my air vents (it is still there thank you very much) so to jason and the B boys, i thank you ;).

on to the honeymoon. we didnt leave until monday because ramsey's homecoming was on sunday and then we opend all of our gifts. but monday morning we went to st. george and returned some stuff, then we headed up to brian head for the night. it was a lot of fun even though all we really did was eat and watch movies!

tuesday morning we left for salt lake. i agreed to drive most of the way if beau would drive in the city, so thats how that went down. we did a lot of shopping, went to the movies (dont mess with the zohan. dumb.) and then went to beau's Auntie Mare's. she was a DOLL! she had fresh flowers in our room and a huge basket of goodies for us to take, a freezer full of ice cream and pop, and she even cooked us dinner! we ate out a ton up there. the two best were noodles & co. and the mayan.

before we left on tursday we went to the zoo. that was a lot of fun! i hadnt been since i was like 3.
we had an awesome time, but we are glad to be home. i am still a little homesick... but i think getting into a routine will help with that a lot. being married is awesome! it's the litte random stuff that i like best, like eating breakfast together, and cooking together with our food in our kitchen, not having to wait for him to go home and shower before he comes over, things like that. sure, we have had a few little quarrels, but other than that, we are as happy as can be! ill put up more pics later, but i think this is pleanty for now!!

I love that you two were brave enough to smash the cake. :) I threatened Jon. I kind of look back on it now as I was being stupid, but we had to go to Seattle for an open house and I didn't want to have to clean my dress. lol I love all your pics. I am so glad that it all went smooth. It was a fun weekend. So you Love Auntie Mare? I haven't seen her in so long, but I love her tons. I am glad you are FINALLY my neighbor. We need to BBQ soon. Love ya :)

A Marriage Prayer

"Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us. To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us. We ask for words both kind and loving and hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive. Dear Lord, we put our marriage into your hands."
