6 days.

that is how long before we leave for california. i am way too excited. a whole week of no work, no house to clean. just me, my honey, and the beach...well, and my whole family, but you get the idea! we had a really fun weekend. friday morning we woke up and left for beaver, beau had to take his deer in to the taxidermist. it was actually really fun to just take a drive. friday night we went out to 'grandpas farm' and had a bbq with some friends. Then went BACK that morning to have breakfast! i took pictures, but it was early... and these cold sores make me look like i got punched in the face, so i am not going to post them. after breakfast beau and i drove up to kolob to go 'shed hunting' (where you look for the horns that have fallen off the deer) i didnt enjoy the hiking part too much, until we found this view! it is so beautiful up there! i cant wait till summer when we are up there like every weekend!
beau showed me these little seed things that pop! they like crush into nothing! i think i popped like 100 of them!
all in all it was a great weekend. we had a lot of 'us' time, which made me happy. i miss beau really bad, but i am grateful for the wonderful job that he has. i have been torn the past few weeks. beau found out that there is a chance that he could be down in Nevada for two more YEARS! which would suck, but it also means that we would build a house. and get a big chunk of it paid off. it's a win-win/lose-lose situation. but i know that whatever is supposed to happen will, and we just gotta keep livin right!
oh yes and i almost forgot... we cant WAIT for holly and her zoo to get here and to hold our newest baby niece AVA!! they are coming for Tiff's wedding, which is quickly approaching! i feel like we just got done with our wedding! i cant believe it was almost a year ago!

A Marriage Prayer

"Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us. To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us. We ask for words both kind and loving and hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive. Dear Lord, we put our marriage into your hands."
