our halloween... or lack thereof....

we had a wonderful Halloween planned. i mean WONDERFUL! every year we have our annual Halloween party. it was at out house this year, so i spent the week cleaning. but one by one, people started telling us they had work, or were going to be out of town, and so on. finally we decided to move it to Saturday, which ended up resulting in MORE people not being able to make it than before! so it was down to 3 families; us, ramsey shaunie & bailey and kasen and gabby. so the night before, i sew our costumes, get up early, go do a photoshoot, come home, go grocery shopping, bought our pumpkin to carve, beau makes salsa, and just as i glue the VERY LAST piece onto my costume... beau yells from the other room "gabby is sick, they aren't coming.".... seriously? i mean come on here. so i call shaunie, who coincidentally was ALSO sick, along with bailey, and we cancel. yes cancel. i was bummed. i guess you just have to know me and parties. i love to entertain. I'm not sure why, but i really do. its been hard since we have added babies into the mix, i think there are a few people who have kind of written us off as friends since we got pregnant. so i had really been looking forward to this! :( i sulk for a minute. beau is as sympathetic as he can be, although i know he is relieved there is no more party. Then i decided to call Tiff and Brian and they saved our halloween!!!! we went trick-or-treating with them and the girls and it was SO SO much fun! the girls were so funny! we love hanging out with them! after that we all went to subway and then came back to our house and visited. we had so much fun, even without a party! thanks for saving our night neibaur family! blake wasnt too sure about everything at first :)we told brian since they are having a girl, blake could be his buddy! and it doenst hurt that blake loves his uncle brian!!
